Mindful UX

UX of Human Being

An exploration of the human interface.

Starting January 1st join us for the “UX of Human Being,” an exploration of the intersections among mindfulness, meditation practice, and user experience work.

As part of the program, participants are challenged to meditate for at least 15 minutes a day for 31 days.

🎯 Here are four themes to meditate on and discuss during weekly Zoom sessions (1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26)

  1. Observer Consciousness (Week 1) Turning our researcher’s eye inward to observe our own thoughts with the same curiosity we bring to user studies.
  2. Embracing Uncertainty (Week 2) Learning to sit with what we can’t control - a vital skill for both meditation and innovation.
  3. Design Patterns of the Mind (Week 3) Examining the recurring patterns in our thinking to transform how we sit with and respond to occurrences.
  4. The Art of Release (Week 4) Practicing letting go of assumptions to open spaces for new possibilities.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran, join us January 1st to explore the intersection of mindfulness and UX!
